Sometimes the amount of acid created its too great or can trigger other symptoms. Pantoprazole inhibits the proton pumps in the parietal cells and reduce the amount of acid. Please Note Pantoprazole Actavis must not be taken by anybody with an allergy to pantoprazole or any beta blockers. It must also not be taken by anybody who is allergic to any of the excipients (sodium carbonate, anhydrous, mannitol, sodium starch glycollate (Type A), methacrylic acid, copolymer, calcium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, purified talc, macrogol 400, sodium lauryl sulfate or Kollicoat MAE 30 DP dark yellow). Anybody with liver problems, including cirrhosis of the liver must not take Pantoprazole Actavis.
