Zithromax (Azithromycin) is used for the treat of bacterial infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, skin infections and is also used for the treatment of Chlamydia. Zithromax is sometimes used as a preventative for the condition known as Mycobacterium avium complex in patients with HIV. Zithromax works by inhibiting the bacteria`s ability to reproduce, making it more difficult for the infection to spread. How should I use Zithromax (Azithromycin)?
